This small study was painted in the dying embers of a beautifully sunny day. I took myself and my son Barnaby to Deal to paint. Despite the sun we were severely chilled within the hours session by the cold easterly breeze blowing that day. The cliffs at Kinsgdown can be seen in the distance.
